(Hosting-NewsWire.com, November 15, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA -- In the race for the White House, United States celebrities seem to be rather slanted to the left, while Romney reaches out to tech-minded conservatives in a last-ditch effort.
Rapper Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dog) endorsed Barack Obama, tweeting “Make sure u all vote 2morrow!! @BarackObama @MichelleObama.”
Eva Longoria posted that he had voted from the Team Obama on her twitter profile. She also took the time to urge her 4.6 million followers to do the same.
"Can't get too political in only 140 chac (characters) but for those asking, I'm voting #RomneyRyan," said Melissa Joan Hart -- star of the TV series "Melissa & Joey."
Both Obama and Republican nominee Romney have been pushing through key states for the last two weeks. The concern over voter turnout in the particular states for respective followers has been emphasized all throughout the running. However, as far as stars are concerned, the incumbent President seems to be a no-brainer decision.
Rapper Jay-Z as well as rock icon Bruce Springsteen have joined Obama during his final day of campaigning, while a wide array of supports have come out to support the President.
Mia Farrow, Julianne Moore, and Singer Mary J. Blige have called upon their fans to vote for Obama on their respective Twitter pages on Monday.
Romney has received his share of celebrity backing as well. Clint Eastwood is one of a handful of outspoken republicans to back the former governor. Eastwood is clearly the most outspoken of the right-leaning stars, however.
"What a wonderful present it will be to have you Inaugurated as The President Of The USA on my birthday 1/20/2013! God Speed! @MittRomney," film and TV actress Stacey Dash tweeted Monday to her 339,500 followers.
Other stars have tried to help create a last-minute push for voters that may be less interested in voting. Actress Rosario Dawson joined America Ferrera in a “Twitter party” which encourages people to state why they are voting with a hashtag #ivotebecause.
