(Hosting-NewsWire.com, November 14, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA- Days before the election, a new political news site claiming Tea Party ties has debuted. According to Politico.com, the Tea Party News Network is run by an activist who says he plans to make the site a leading destination for the pro-small government, anti-tax movement. Editor Todd Cefaratti says the new entry gives the Tea Party its "only trusted news source and the antidote to mainstream media bias." The website says it will offer live Election Day video coverage co-anchored by radio host Rusty Humphries and TPNN news director Scottie Neil Hughes. A TPNN release says the website’s Election Day coverage will focus on Tea Party-backed hopefuls, including Texas Senate candidate Ted Cruz, Utah House challenger Mia Love, and House incumbents Michelle Bachmann from Minnesota and Allen West in Florida. TPNN says its Election Day coverage will be handled by a “war room of 40-plus volunteers" working out of the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. The Venetian is owned by casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, who with his family has already contributed at least $46.5 million to groups working to defeat President Barack Obama. It is not known whether there is any link between Adelson and the TPNN, or whether the location is coincidental. After Election Day, Cefaratti says the new website will intends to be "a vigilant watchdog on Washington’s leaders, regardless of the outcome of the November election." Taking a jab at mainstream media, he added TPNN didn’t need “our supposed betters in the mainstream media telling us which stories matter or what we should think.” TPNN is not Cefaratti’s first political-flavored internet venture. He also says he’s the executive director for TheTeaParty.net, which he terms “one of the most popular websites devoted to the Tea Party cause.” KPHO-TV, the CBS affiliate in Phoenix, in 2010 reported a local website, JoinTheTeaParty.us, told the Federal Election Commission it had raised $469,000. It noted it had spent about half of that amount on marketing, including search engine optimization, Google sponsorship and Facebook and Craigslist ads. It did not list any expenditures for promoting Tea Party candidates or events. Cefaratti was listed as the group’s executive director. A local reporter tried unsuccessfully to interview Cefaratti, who refused to answer and drove away in a black SUV bearing the personalized license plate TPARTY1. Cefaratti’s personal blog say he is an Arizona resident who previously worked for the Bank of America and other companies, but now presides over a data collection firm he called “one of the top reverse mortgage lead providers in the country.” About WebsiteCreationExperts.com: WebsiteCreationExperts.com (http://websitecreationexperts.com) makes building websites as simple and economical as possible.
